Paige M. Vaillancourt

Attorney Vaillancourt is a Partner at Rescia Law, P.C. with offices in Connecticut and Massachusetts focusing on consumer and business bankruptcy representation and small business representation. 

She is admitted to the bars for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and Connecticut.

She was a 2024 National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges NextGen Participant and a Connecticut Bar Association Presidential Fellow for the 2020-2022 term.

She was awarded the 2019 Rising Star Award by the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and is the 2024-2025 Chair-Elect of the Connecticut Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section. She was also awarded the 2022-2023 Star of the Year Award and the 2019-2020 Rookie of the Year Award by the Connecticut Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section for her time as the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Chair.

She enjoys working on community outreach projects, especially for younger generations, and was awarded a distinction for service to the bar by Judge Julie A. Manning.  She has organized and spoken at a variety of legal education events and participates in numerous pro bono initiatives.

She is a member of the Massachusetts and Connecticut Bar Associations, the Hampden and Hampshire County Bar Associations, the International Women’s Insolvency Reorganization Confederation (IWIRC) New England and Connecticut Networks, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

She currently serves as a Board Member of the IWIRC New England network.

She was a Summer Clerk in 2016 for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut and was a Summer Associate at Halloran & Sage, LLP in 2017.
She received her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Western New England Law Review. She received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Secured Transactions, Legal Research & Writing, and Medical Quality & Liability. She also received the Robert A. Edwards Endowed Law Scholarship and the Class of 1979 Law Review Scholarship. She was a member of the legal academic fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut, where she served as a member of the Waterbury Academic Integrity Board from 2010-2011. She was also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Tau Sigma Honors Society. She received the Aberdeen Family Scholarship Honoring Philip P. Benevento.
